Project 1440 Mentoring Program

Project 1440 Mentoring Program is designed to provide young individuals with guidance, encouragement, and practical support as they develop essential life skills.
Through mentorship, mentees will gain insights from experienced individuals who can help them navigate challenges in school, family, and the community. The program fosters meaningful relationships, personal development, and growth opportunities.

Our program consists of the following classes:

Project

Job Shadowing/Internships

Job shadowing/internships offer at-risk youth a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the professional world, bridging the gap between education and employment. These experiences empower them with hands-on learning, mentorship, and a chance to explore potential career paths. By engaging with professionals in a real-world setting, they develop essential skills, build confidence, and expand their networks, laying a foundation for future success in the workforce.

Project

Community Explorations and Volunteer Work

At Project 1440, we are devoted to enhancing the lives of young people through our Community Exploration Program.

Community Exploration and Volunteer Work initiatives aim to engage at-risk youth in meaningful community service, fostering a sense of belonging and civic responsibility. By actively participating in local projects, they develop essential life skills, build connections, and gain a deeper understanding of their communities, paving the way for personal growth and social contribution.

Project

Expressive Art Therapy

Expressive Art Therapy will help young people express their real-life experiences and creativity through art.

Project 1440 Team believes Expressive Art Therapy offers at-risk youth a dynamic and transformative outlet for self-expression and healing. These creative sessions enable them to explore their emotions, build resilience, and communicate in ways beyond words. By engaging with various art forms, they can gain valuable insights into their experiences and develop coping strategies that contribute to their overall well-being and personal growth.

The Tuesday Reign Organization presents Project 1440 Summer Basketball League. Gear up for a season of teamwork, growth, and fun! Let's make a difference together.

Participating in sports activities and team-building exercises provides at-risk youth with essential opportunities for personal development and social integration. These activities promote physical health, teamwork, and communication skills, while also boosting self-esteem and resilience. By working together towards common goals, youth can build trust, develop leadership abilities, and foster a sense of belonging, which are critical in steering them towards positive life choices and away from negative influences.
